without further ado...

i introduce to you....

wonder woman herself {with a paci}

last night was 'trunk or treat' in our church parking lot. lots of cars are decorated/set up and kids go from 'trunk to trunk' collecting treats. georgia wonder woman was too young last year so we took full advantage of the festivities this go round. but first we had to fuel the the superhero up....

did y'all know the preferred food for wonder woman is cheese pizza. well now you do. and now we were all ready to go...

{can i just say how big girl this picture makes her look. she's not that big yet. i'm just not going to believe it yet}

anyway, it seems that super heros know exactly what this trick or treat thing is all about...

please. thank you.

into her punkin...

right back out to see 'bout it....

and here we go. she got 4 pieces of candy in 1.5 hours. each time she would get a piece she would get it back out and sit on the curb to eat it. she had no concept that if she kept going she could have gotten more. so i let her be. whatever her idea of a fun time was, i let it happen. and it was sitting on this yellow curb eating a sucker....

every now and then she would look around to see what all the fuss was to make sure duty wasn't calling. all her friends were running 'round having a good time but she was content where she was...

thank goodness baby bop was nice enough to join her. i was starting to think she was getting lonely. you know if it's possible for super heros to get lonely. probably not right...

anyway, thank you baby bop.

so that is how the night went. we ate suckers on the curb and talked to friends. seriously, there is something so wonderful about babies in costume. how can you not love it. especially wonder woman. hee hee.

by this point every square inch of georgia wonder woman AND wonder momma were covered in sucker. and you can tell from the look in my child's eye that she was on a serious sugar high....

and then she found the curb again...

thank goodness she crashed when we got home. i was starting to get a little worried there at the end. i took an apple for good measure and tried to get her to eat it after one of her suckers and she looked at me like i had handed her a snake.

i am already looking forward to next year. this week has been lots of fun. we still have a little more super hero festivities to go, but i'll be glad to have my g marie back. raising a super hero is hard stuff you know.

peace out.

gearing up...

we're almost ready for full costume around here. got a little more super-hero training to do. hopefully that includes no paci or bunny. i'm not sure those are necessary to save the world.

brrrr....

i guess fall has come huh. what a nice change to the hot summer we've had. despite the freezing temps, georgia hasn't lost her desire to be outside at all times. lucky us one of harold's co-workers sent home a bag full of stuff last year which included these snow boots. i realize that we're talking about snow boots when it is 50 degrees but 50 degrees gets cold quick.

now if we could only convince her that these snow boots aren't necessary indoors.

p.s. do you notice harold under the desk in the last picture? georgia was trying to be a 'big' helper to her daddy while he worked. seriously, she was lots and lots of help. *wink*

b.u.s.y.

busy is an understatement. harold kept her this morning and they were at the mall at 8:30a.m. walking around with the elders. many days we may trips to the park because i start to feel like she needs somewhere to go without any restrictions. there she can run wild and i can rest easy {well for the most part}. anyway, these are two of georgia's favorite things right now:

getting on our shoes and actually managing to walk in them {without breaking a bone hopefully}...

love the hand action in this last shot. guess its helpin'.

the other is playing in our cars. she has just graduated to the driving buggys at publix, which she loves, so now she wants to 'drive' our cars. and turn on the music. or "mu-nic" as she pronounces it...

i mean this little thang turns every knob and button like it is her car. it really amazes me to see how much she has picked up by just observing us operate the car. but there is one thing she didn't pick up from us...

we do not turn backwards in our seat to greet the passer-by's. she sees no issue with it though. silly girl.

besides that and a whole bunch else we really don't have much going on. got another free day tomorrow which i hope will involve the outdoors. there are some challenges i am starting to see arise with discipline, but nevertheless this is a really fun stage we are in. it is just going too fast. way too fast some days. i would kinda be content a little longer with her being able to fit in the bottom shelf of our bookcase, reading her cardboard books in her pj's and a tutu...

but then again kinda not. she has a whole lotta growing to do and so do i.

speaking of which i am off now to start a new bible study...it's a study on the life of paul called 'to live is christ' by beth moore. i usually do group studies, but i'm doing this one alone. i really need a fresh reminder of what a real servant for the lord jesus looks like. i'll be sure to share the pearls i glean.

have a great week. not good but great. g diddy sends her best....
