teachable moments

"For the LORD takes delight in his people; He crowns the humble with salvation"
Psalm 149:4
Georgia is joining me here in prayer that God would call her to Himself at an early age. That she would receive the "crown" of salvation in Jesus Christ and that all her days would be lived to give Him glory.
And here we are working on Phillipians 4:11 -"...for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. "

You see she is no longer satisfied with just sitting there. However, once she gets herself into these little pickles (like above) she can't get down...or get up, once she falls. so i'm trying to teach her to be 'content in all circumstances'.
Lastly...Psalm 45:11 - "The king is enthralled by your beauty". And so is her mother.

Our days are full of teachable moments. She has to learn to crawl. talk. read. eat. But above all else, I have to teach her about the Word of God. The very Word that became Flesh to dwell among us so that we might know the Father. Full of grace and truth. I want those things for her and Deuteronomy 6 makes my job clear...

“These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up."
