a few miles from here there is a splash park that is perfect for kids georgia's age. and older too, but really great for the little ones because you don't have to worry about them going underwater. so we packed up and met this little one there...
when we got there, maggie jumped right in. she went full force towards the fun. georgia on the other hand had to watch from the sidelines for a bit...
maggie kept telling her where to go for all the fun but she didn't want any part of it...
finally she got up the nerve. and i thought she was having fun...
until the water hit her. fun over.
so she marched herself over to where we were sitting...
and asked for a snack. all this fun and she'd rather snack. the splash park wasn't quite as exciting as animal crackers.
so we just hung out till maggie got through playing and then they both had snacks. gerogia had to make sure maggie was still her friend even if she chickened out of playing with her...
maggie extended her grace. phew. it's hard keeping up with those big girls. we'll try again later.
{well maybe sooner than later, because as i type this our a.c. has gone out and it's 80 degrees in her at 7:45 p.m. so i'm thinking maybe we need to pitch a tent at the splash pad tonight. think they'll mind????}
