without further ado...

i introduce to you....

wonder woman herself {with a paci}

last night was 'trunk or treat' in our church parking lot. lots of cars are decorated/set up and kids go from 'trunk to trunk' collecting treats. georgia wonder woman was too young last year so we took full advantage of the festivities this go round. but first we had to fuel the the superhero up....

did y'all know the preferred food for wonder woman is cheese pizza. well now you do. and now we were all ready to go...

{can i just say how big girl this picture makes her look. she's not that big yet. i'm just not going to believe it yet}

anyway, it seems that super heros know exactly what this trick or treat thing is all about...

please. thank you.

into her punkin...

right back out to see 'bout it....

and here we go. she got 4 pieces of candy in 1.5 hours. each time she would get a piece she would get it back out and sit on the curb to eat it. she had no concept that if she kept going she could have gotten more. so i let her be. whatever her idea of a fun time was, i let it happen. and it was sitting on this yellow curb eating a sucker....

every now and then she would look around to see what all the fuss was to make sure duty wasn't calling. all her friends were running 'round having a good time but she was content where she was...

thank goodness baby bop was nice enough to join her. i was starting to think she was getting lonely. you know if it's possible for super heros to get lonely. probably not right...

anyway, thank you baby bop.

so that is how the night went. we ate suckers on the curb and talked to friends. seriously, there is something so wonderful about babies in costume. how can you not love it. especially wonder woman. hee hee.

by this point every square inch of georgia wonder woman AND wonder momma were covered in sucker. and you can tell from the look in my child's eye that she was on a serious sugar high....

and then she found the curb again...

thank goodness she crashed when we got home. i was starting to get a little worried there at the end. i took an apple for good measure and tried to get her to eat it after one of her suckers and she looked at me like i had handed her a snake.

i am already looking forward to next year. this week has been lots of fun. we still have a little more super hero festivities to go, but i'll be glad to have my g marie back. raising a super hero is hard stuff you know.

peace out.

My favorite of all these extremely adorable pics is the first one, in which she is marching purposefully--because she's a little girl with a mission and a mind of her own--armed with her paci. Because even a superhero needs a little backup.

Heather, she is ADORABLE as Super Woman! I love it and I can just see all this happening in my mind. You are a good momma to just let her be and let her have her own idea of a good time! I hope you continue to have fun times this weekend! Give my love to the family!!
