her jeeew-reeee

you say jewelry. we say jeeeeww-reeeee. either way georgia has discovered it for herself and become quite the lover. and what is it about girls that when they put on some costume jewelry they all of a sudden feel extra girly? and sassy.

she has even figured out how to hold her arm up so that her bracelet doesn't fall off when she plays. i was impressed. i mean that's some serious know how. and can i just say that i realize her hair is all over the place in these pictures but they are after-nap/end-of-the-day pictures while we were hanging at home. don't be thinking that we roll out looking this way. just sayin'.

day two. jeeew-reee again. i've made her put it up each day in a silver cup on her bookcase and don't you know that she has been so particular to follow instructions to put those earrings and necklace in their proper place. she ain't taking the risk to lose her treasure. and speaking of treasures, why on earth are these plastic pieces of jewelry so darn pricey? darn disney. well the necklace does talk if you press the button {which she's doing above}. i don't buy toys that talk to her so you can imagine my excitement when i figured this out at home.

i told her how beautiful her earrings were and please look at the way she touched them and pursed her lips to confirm what i was saying. seriously, who teaches us these things? but here's what i can't get past. she had gotten onto her daddy's lap to show him her new digs. he was lavishing the compliments and she was soaking it all in. that was until i asked to take their picture. this was the look i got...

she cut her eyes at me as if to say that she was busy getting all his attention and i need not bother them. thank goodness he has enough love and affection for both of us or i'd be in some serious trouble.
